Advanced Summer Intensive
Dance Stars Team: challenge yourself!
We are proud to present a once in a life-time opportunity to work with world renown team of teachers that will be working during the two weeks of the Advanced Summer Intensive, June 24th to July 6th, 2019 (Monday through Saturday).
The Program combines two Ballet Techniques:
Vaganova Method & American-style Ballet (Balanchine)

- Ethan Fuller - New York City Ballet and Broadway Musical Billy Elliot!
- Ekaterina Vaganova- 3 times World Champion & Dancing With The Stars Pro
- Artem Yachmennikov - San Francisco Ballet, Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theater!
- Colin Fuller - Merce - Cunningham, Kyle Abraham and Jose Limon!
- Courtney Eierman - Award-winning Choreographer, Contemporary & Jazz Edicator and Adjudicator!
- Holly McFarland - Titusville Playhouse Actress ("The Producers"), Acting Educator.
- Glenn "Kraz" Krasny - performs with Team of Not Quite Right Improv in their very own theatre in the EGAD District of Downton Eau Gallie.
- Susie Willard - Nutrition, practicing Physical Therapist for over 20 years.
The faculty is well rounded - you may experience classes in Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Contemporary, Physical Conditioning, Acting/Plastic, Ballroom, and Nutrition! Physical Therapy will be available during the two weeks of training.
The Advanced Summer Programs are for dancers 12 and up who have had extensive previous training. They are professional training programs for highly talented students to provide them detailed instruction in strong technical skills and repertoire while building the stamina required in today’s dance world.
Drop-In classes are available for any of these classes for $25 per class!
Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Acting/Plastic. Week 2
Natalia Bashkatova has more than 20 years of experience in the en- tertainment industry, and is a highly talented artist.
Born in Russia, Bashkatova trained at the prestigious Bolshoi Ballet Acad- emy in Moscow and Bolshoi Ballet University. She became a principal dancer for the prestigious Bolshoi Theater Grigorovich Ballet from 1989-1994 and immediately after was a guest principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. Her repertoire included many title roles in the great classics including Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Kitri in Don Quixote, Swan- hilda in Coppelia, Odette/Odile in Swan Lake among many others. Awards include "Best Ballerina of the Festival" at the 1992 Spoleto International Arts Festival held in Spoleto, Italy. She has toured worldwide to countries including Holland, Greece, Egypt, Hong Kong, France, and Belgium among many others.
After moving to the United States, she joined Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas as a lead dancer in Mystere. In 1998, she moved to Orlando to perform in Cirque du Soleil's "La Nouba" where she currently performs. She has been featured in numerous television commercials, interviews, and videos with Cirque du Soleil.
Ballet, Pointe, Variations. Week 1
Former dancer with the New York City Ballet and Billy Elliot in the Broadway National Tour of Billy Elliot the Musical, Ethan Fuller was a scholarship student at the School of American Ballet and the Paris Opera Ballet's Summer School. He is a recipient of the the Mae. L. Wien Award for Outstanding Promise, the Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Award, and the National YoungArts Foundation Silver Medal. Mr. Fuller teaches in the Balanchine tradition, specializing in ballet technique, partnering, variations, pointe, and stretch & conditioning.
Ballroom. Week 1
Ekaterina Vaganova-Yachmennikova is a three-time World Champion ballroom dancer, WDC European Latin Champion, multiple champion of Russia, Italy, Ukraine and Spain. She won her first World Cup at the Under 21 age category in Los Angeles, USA in 2006. She was the winner of the prestigious Festival of Dance in Cervia, Italy; the Imperial Dance Championship; and Universal Dance Competition in London, England. She has been a pro teacher on Dancing With The Stars in Italy for five seasons and choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance in Russia. She brings the highest level of ballroom experience to the Central Florida.
Stretching & Conditioning. Week 1 & 2
Mr. Yachmennikov graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. He was the first soloist with the world famous Bolshoi Theater in Moscow; a soloist at The Mariinsky Theater (Kirov) in St.Petersburg; and a principal dancer at the Dutch National Ballet, which is one of the most prestigious European theaters. He was also a principal dancer at San Francisco Ballet, one of the largest and long lived professional ballet companies in the United States. He performed on the most prestigious ballet stages in the world such as Covent Garden in London, Grand Opera in Paris, Metropolitan Opera in New-York, The London Coliseum Theater, and Champs-Elysees Theater in Paris. Mr. Yachnmennikov enjoyed the honor of receiving an invitation from Her Royal Majesty Queen Beatrix of Netherlands to attend an official ceremony recognizing his artistic accomplishments. Artem is also currently the Artistic Director of Melbourne City Ballet Theatre.
Contemporary, Week 1
Courtney started teaching at a young age and has since choreographed for some of the country’s top talent. She is currently the commercial competition manager at Skyra Studios, Central Florida. When she is not preparing for or attending competitions with her own students, Courtney travels as an adjudicator and master class instructor. While she enjoys teaching all forms of dance – from lyrical to lyrical to jazz to basic technique - she is most well-known for her award-winning
Contemporary choreography. Her students have been awarded prizes ranging from Apogee, People’s Choice, Top Scores, Title Winners and more.
Contemporary, Week 2
Colin Fuller, native to Florida, trained at The School of American Ballet in NYC. While at Juilliard, Colin has performed works by Merce Cunningham, Lar Lubovitch, and Jose Limon. He has also worked closely to perform new works by Kyle Abraham, Brian Brooks, Camille A. Brown, and Kate Weare among others. He has had his choreography presented at various Juilliard workshops and has collaborated with composer Nathan Pezzotti in in a new work for Juilliard's Choreographers and Composers Concert in 2014.
Acting. Week 1
Ms. McFarland, well known throughout the area as a fine musical theater performer (she was divine as Ulla in “The Producers” at Titusville Playhouse), took over Eau Gallie High School’s acclaimed theater department after the much revered Sarah Munday retired last year.
Glenn "Kraz" Krasny
Acting. Week 2.
Glenn "Kraz" Krasny received a degree in Theatre from the University of Florida. After college, he returned to Brevard and taught acting classes at Children's Community Theatre in Rockledge. He then headed abroad, honing his skills on the streets of Western Europe as a street performer and mime. After his return to the states, Kraz trained as a stuntman and toured as a stand-up comedian and improvisational stage performer. Kraz has performed with ballet companies for the last 15 years in the United States and, as well, abroad. Kraz has performed various theatrical roles at Melbourne Civic Theatre, Surfside Players, and the Henegar Center. He currently performs in the “My Weird Uncle” Team of Not Quite Right Improv in their very own theatre in the EGAD District of Downton Eau Gallie.
Susie Willard has been a practicing Physical Therapist for over 20 years. She holds her B.S. in exercise science from Adelphi University and subsequently completed her studies in the Physical Therapy program at Stony Brook University. Her specialties include rehabilitation of the foot and ankle, strength and conditioning for injury prevention, and the skilled provision of dance medicine. She has completed extensive continuing education including the curriculum from the Harkness Center For Dance Injuries and applies their cutting edge evidence based recommendations to the dancers she treats. She has taught strength and conditioning to the advanced ballet students of Central Florida and currently provides concierge level Physical Therapy to dancers and their families in Brevard County.
One Week: $400
Two Weeks: $750
*A registration fee for non-MCDC members of $35 is required upon registration for the Summer Intensive.
